Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how DALY APPS PTY LTD ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Daily Blocker, our Android app for blocking distracting apps and websites.

Daily Blocker is designed to work mainly on your device. Your block lists, schedules, usage insights, and website blocking rules are intended to stay local to your device unless you choose to contact us, make a purchase, or use a feature that clearly involves a third-party service.

Information We Handle

Daily Blocker may handle the following information to provide app blocking and website blocking features:

• Apps you choose to block.
• Websites, domains, or keywords you choose to block.
• Schedules, time limits, and blocking preferences you create.
• Local usage insights, such as screen time, blocked attempts, active days, streaks, and activity trends.
• Basic app settings, permission status, and feature preferences.

This information is used to make Daily Blocker work. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Local Storage

All core Daily Blocker data is stored locally on your device. This includes your selected blocked apps, blocked websites, keyword rules, schedules, and usage insights.

You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the relevant data inside the app where available, clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.

Daily Blocker does not transmit your app usage data, blocked apps, or browsing activity.

Accessibility Service

Daily Blocker uses Android AccessibilityService only to detect the currently active app so it can block apps selected by you. For example, if you add YouTube or TikTok to your block list, AccessibilityService helps Daily Blocker notice when that app is opened and show the blocking screen.

Daily Blocker does not use AccessibilityService to read your passwords, messages, personal content, text input, or screen contents. AccessibilityService data is not sold, used for ads, or sent to our servers for profiling.

Accessibility access is optional and controlled by you. You can enable or disable it at any time in Android settings.

Local VPN Service

Daily Blocker uses Android's local VPN capability to block websites and domain keywords on your device. The VPN is used for filtering domain requests against the blocking rules you set.

Daily Blocker's website blocking VPN runs locally on your device. It is not used to provide a remote VPN server, sell browsing data, inject ads, or redirect traffic for monetization.

Website blocking is optional and controlled by you. You can enable or disable it in the app or Android settings.

This VPN does not route traffic through external servers and is not a traditional VPN service.

Purchases and Subscriptions

If you make a purchase or subscribe through Daily Blocker, payment is processed by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Daily Blocker may use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat may receive purchase-related information such as your subscription status, product identifier, transaction details, and app user identifier so the app can unlock the correct features.

Support, Waitlist, and Communications

If you contact us for support, join a waitlist, or subscribe to updates, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, your message, and any details needed to respond to your request.

We use this information to reply to you, provide support, send requested updates, and manage our communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing or update emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails where available.

Push Notifications

Daily Blocker may ask for permission to send push notifications related to app features, reminders, focus sessions, or account and subscription status. You can turn notifications off in Android settings.

When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only when needed to operate Daily Blocker, including:

• With Google Play for payment processing and subscription billing.
• With RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management.
• With communication or support providers when you contact us or sign up for updates.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally in Daily Blocker remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

Support emails, waitlist details, and purchase-related records handled by third-party providers may be kept for as long as needed to provide support, manage subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Daily Blocker is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
